Looking for a simple recipe to substitute those cream of anything soups? This cream of Soup Substitute is just what you need!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 qt. milk, heated

  • 3/4 c. flour

  • 1 1/4 c. milk

  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/2 tsp. onion salt

  • 1/2 tsp. celery salt

  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt

  • 1 tsp. seasoning salt

  • 1/4 - 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese (optional)

Directions

  • Mix flour with 1 1/4 c. milk.

  • Add remaining milk to saucepan to warm.

  • Add flour mixture to warm milk and stir until thickened.

  • Remove from heat and add the rest of the ingredients.

  • Substitute in recipes calling for one 10.5 oz of cream of (fill in the blank) soup.

NOTES

  • This cream of soup substitute recipe will replace one 10.5 ounce can of Cream of (fill in the blank) soup.
