About this Fire Cider DIY Kit:
Fire cider is a traditional folk tonic. It is tangy, pungent, bright, and delicious. A shot a couple of times a day will be sure to wake you up both inside and out. The tonic is like rocket fuel for your immune system and digestive health.
Some people take it in the morning to jolt them awake, but others prefer it at night — although there appears to be no real difference in how it works based on when it’s taken.
It’s a health tonic that was created back in the 70s by an herbalist named Rosemary Gladstar, and lots of people swear by its ability to keep their immune system in tip-top shape.
This is a kit. Which includes a bag of freeze-dried herbs in a muslin bag and instructions.
You will need to complete the process:
A quart jar
Apple cider vinegar of your choice
And honey (preferably from a local source)
All ingredients included in the kit are organic
Fire Cider DIY Kit:
Ingredients: all organic cayenne, onion granules, garlic granules, rosemary, horseradish powder, turmeric, ginger.
Fire Cider DIY Kit Instructions:
In a Quart Jar place the bag of dried herbs. Bring one cup of water to a boil. Pour boiling water over the bag, cover the jar loosely, let sit overnight.
Pour your choice of apple cider vinegar up to the neck of the jar. Cover the jar with a lid. Set in a cool place out of direct sunlight. Let steep for 3 days or up to 2 weeks (longer is fine too). Shaking occasionally to mix.
Remove the bag and squeeze any remaining liquid out of the bag back into your jar. Add your choice of honey (raw local is best) to taste. Shake to mix thoroughly.
